Chinara Hill was born in College Station, Texas, and grew up in Waukegan, Illinois. She is an independent R&B/Soul singer-songwriter, and American actress. Chinara studied musical theatre at NYU Tisch School of the Arts' New Studio on Broadway. Throughout her time at NYU, Chinara trained as a vocalist, actress, and dancer; and studied on-camera acting at Tisch School of the Arts' Stonestreet Studios.


        In her final year, Chinara performed one of her favorite roles as Olivia in Twelfth Night. That same year, Chinara was cast in her first speaking role as Cassidy in the web series "NAPS." Following her graduation from NYU, Chinara has made featured appearances in Season 1 of the "Godfather of Harlem," and in multiple episodes of Season 3 of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel." She recently released her debut EP, "Eternity," which is available on all streaming platforms as of May 7th, 2021.
