Chinara Hill born in College Station, Texas and raised in Waukegan, Illinois. She is an R&B/Soul singer-songwriter and recording artist. Growing up in the church, Chinara performed alongside her mom singing in the church choir. She spent most of her childhood writing music, singing in talent shows, and performing in musicals. From a young age, Chinara played the violin and self taught herself to play the piano. She trained classically as a vocalist, performed arias in chamber concerts, and as a lead singer in the school rock band.

In Spring 2020, Chinara wrote her debut single Eternity with the help of childhood friend TaQsem who produced the beat. Eternity was recorded and engineered at a studio in Springfield, Virginia. She released her debut single in August of 2020 as Chinara. In Fall 2020, Chinara recorded and released her second single, Stay.

May of 2021 saw the release of Chinara's debut EP Eternity. The EP is a collection of heartfelt R&B songs centered around heartbreak, relationships and love. Through honest lyrics and inspired vocals, Chinara writes heartfelt songs that evoke peoples' emotions. She is featured on Wine by Eric MatthysMotivation by TaQsem, and I Need It by Jeighman.

In the Summer of 2021, Hill wrote, recorded, and released Cloud 9. This is the first song that she wrote in a long time that was not from a place of heartbreak or longing, but from a place of being in love. Chinara continues to challenge herself to tap into what makes her smile in life rather than what caused tears.

Her musical inspiration derives from artists such as Amy Winehouse, Mariah Carey, En Vogue, and Adele.
