MY NEW SINGLE
"Blue" is for anyone who has overcome life challenges and still found beauty and joy on the other side. "Blue" uses the motifs and moods surrounding the color blue to illustrate my inner emotional life and experiences with the world around me, especially as a child. I use the color blue as a metaphor for sadness and depression but also in the literal sense. I found it fitting to explore why blue is my favorite color. I chose to release this song during Mental Health Awareness month with the hope that the song could help others process grief, sadness, and their past.

I'm an R&B Pop Ballad singer-songwriter, composer, and actress based in Washington, DC. Through honest lyrics and soulful vocals, my music captivates and evokes emotion. With roots in Chicago, New Orleans, and Southeast Texas, my artistry has been influenced by the musical styles of Jazz, Soul, and R&B. I received my BFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts, and am known for my deeply personal songwriting, wide vocal range, and warm vocal tone. I can be seen as Monica in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and I have graced stages performing from DC to New York, Chicago, Houston, and LA. I am best known for my singles “Home,” “Stay,” and “Eternity."
